Pinterest Love

Well, it looks like not only have I been bitten by the blog bug, but I have also joined Pinterest! I know many of my friends are thinking "Uhhh, you just discovered the wonderfullness that is Pinterest?!" And to those of you thinking that..(ahem Erin), please know that I had great intentions to join long ago but life just kept getting in the way. But now I have seen the light and am just as obsessed as everyone said I would be. I was browsing last night and found many pretty things! Here are just a few of the pictures I have been inspired by...and happy Leap Day! And a Big Congrats are in order for my roomie who is on her last crazily insane late night of this busy season!

Spring and Summer Fever

It's late February which means that I am dreaming of flip flops and porch side margaritas! Luckily we live in Houston which means we don't have to wait much longer for weather perfection! I love the March-early June months....our California esque months/ pre-inferno temps. Here is some of what I'll be doing very soon! (Bonus: It's supposed to be 80 degrees here tomorrow!) (Double Bonus: The roomie that is pictured below will start to return to semi normal life in the next few weeks!)

5 Things To Do Before 30

As previously mentioned, this blog is something that has been on my mind for a while. It is something that I have discussed in some detail with my lovely roomie Melissa, aka Mel. A few years back while enjoying a glass of wine (or a bottle, but who's keeping track) Mel and I made a list on a bar napkin of the things we wanted to accomplish before we turned 30. Fun and exciting adventures that we could do together that would keep our young (ahem, not that young...) and fun single girl life interesting. I think that our mutual love for "Sex in the City" sparked some of this gung ho, we can do it attitude. Let's just say that Sex in the City TV marathons were in full force around the time the bar napkin list was created.

So a combination of wine, sex in the city, and single girl attitude = 5 Things to do Before 30 (Bar Napkin)

(And yes, you will notice that the napkin actually states "5 Things to do Before 32" in semi scribble.....after the above mentioned wine consumption had worn off, a realization of 30 being right around the corner set in and the 30 became a 32.)

As you can see, Some Kind of Wonderful is taking care of #4 on our list! I love the feeling of accomplishment when you can cross something off a list.
