We spent our overnight getaway eating at some of my favorite spots, drinking mimosas, watching some final four bball, celebrating my cousin Heather's 30th birthday!, spending time with family, sunbathing at Zilker (lovely weather), visiting the state capitol, more eating, shopping on SoCo, enjoying crepes at one of the many fab street truck vendors and driving around the beautiful city (it was Blake's first trip to Austin, so a campus tour was a must).
It was a perfect mini vaca (minus the traffic we encountered both ways)(then again, not minus the traffic...it was cherished quality time spent talking with my amazing bf) ....BIG thanks to my wonderful brother and Nicki for hosting us!!! We love you!
